Deep Creek retreat

The young adults at GFC headed up to Deep Creek this winter for a retreat. Some skied, some cooked food, and some just relaxed. Overall, everyone had fun. Then we all drove home in a white-out. That really added to the effect. So, here are some great, albeit late, photos of our trip.

Will you be my...

All the young adults of Grace were invited to a Valentine's Day dinner this past week. It was a great time of fellowship and food. Surprising as it might be, the guys were the chefs for the night, giving the girls a deserved break! Although I think all the guys would agree that we won't be opening a restaurant anytime soon, the meal turned out pretty well. The event was also used as an excuse to get dressed up, which was fun. We are always looking for other young adults (college- 30's) to be part of our group! Stop by GFC for more info.

A Busy Weekend!

There was a lot happening at Grace this weekend! We had the clay pigeon shoot, which was a great success. The men of GFC enjoyed a beautiful, albiet very cold, morning. There was lots of coffee, lots of missed shots (at least on my part), and, most importantly, a great time for the men of GFC to fellowship and enjoy God's creation.

We also had a super bowl party for students 6th-12th grade. The students had lots of fun, ate lots of food, and enjoyed some good old fashion football. Stay tuned for more upcoming events at Grace! We look forward to seeing you at the next happening!

Update--Northwest Provision Drive

It is almost 6:30am Saturday morning. I just got home from the provision drive. And I am too excited to sleep. God moved in a mighty way Friday night as we sought out the homeless and downtrodden in Baltimore City. We led approximately 10 people to the Lord, had many re-dedications, and ministered to dozens and dozens of men and women. We were blessed to meet several people from Towson University that had been coming downtown all week to give out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to the homeless and tell them about Jesus. They said we inspired them to greatness. They said they dreamed of one day having a truck full of stuff and lots of people doing exactly what we were doing. We told them they inspired us by their attitude and their time commitment. I am ending this with the list of people we ministered to on the street. I probably missed 20 or so people as I lose track sometimes when we get lots of people around the truck. We ended our evening by dropping off food for 110 people staying at the Oasis shelter. We could not have done this without the help of dozens of people praying for us, helping us make the food, load the trucks, buy the supplies, and help on the street team. Michelle graciously met us at the church God Bless you all for your prayers and support. I look forward to the whole street team sharing their testimonies with you.
